League of Legends S16 Theme 'KNOW MY NAME' Is a Faker Tribute

Riot just dropped the Worlds 2026 anthem 'KNOW MY NAME,' and its cover and music video are packed with nods to six-time champion Faker.
Well, that's one way to make a fanbase emotional. Riot Games has officially unveiled "KNOW MY NAME," the theme song for the 2026 League of Legends World Championship (S16), and it's basically a love letter to the one and only Faker.
If you caught the cover art or the music video, you already know. The whole thing is built as a tribute to the "Six-Time Champion" — the greatest winner the game has ever seen, someone who overcame every obstacle through sheer grit and determination and turned the impossible into reality.
The track itself is a proper collaboration, performed by i-dle's SOYEON, Coco Jones, Vic Mensa, and SofĂa Reyes. That's a pretty stacked lineup, and it fits the scale of the moment.
According to the official description, the music video features True Damage making their mark on the Worlds 2026 anthem. If you've been around the esports scene for a while, you know how much weight that name carries.
As for when all this actually goes down: Worlds 2026 runs from October 16 to November 15. The teaser line asks the question every fan is already thinking — when the dust settles, who leaves their name behind?
For Faker, of course, the name is already written into the history books. Six titles. The kind of legacy that gets an entire Worlds anthem pointed at you. Not bad for a guy who's been the face of competitive League for over a decade.
So what do you think — does "KNOW MY NAME" live up to the hype, or are you still humming an older Worlds anthem? Let us know in the comments.
