Stage Tour Guitar Bundle Pre-Orders Are Live—But Only PS5 Gets a Disc

Pre-orders for the Stage Tour guitar controller bundle are now open across all platforms, but only the PS5 version includes a physical game disc. Here's what you need to know.

Ready to shred some virtual riffs? Stage Tour's guitar controller bundle is now up for pre-order on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch 2. But here's a twist: only the PS5 version comes with a physical disc. If you're all about that tangible game collection, you might want to stick with Sony's console.

For everyone else, you'll be downloading the game digitally. That's not necessarily a dealbreaker, but it's worth knowing before you drop your cash. The bundle includes the guitar controller and the game, so you're set to rock out right out of the box.

Now, why only PS5? The source doesn't specify, but it's a common trend these days—physical media is becoming a premium feature. Xbox and Switch players have been getting more digital-only releases, and PC has been digital for ages. So, if you're a physical collector, PS5 is your only option here.

But let's talk about the guitar itself. Stage Tour is promising an immersive experience, and the controller is designed to make you feel like a real rockstar. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a newbie, this bundle is aimed at getting you into the groove.

Pre-orders are live now, so if you're hyped, you can lock in your copy. Just remember: if you're not on PS5, you'll be going digital. Is that a big deal for you? Or are you fine with all-digital? Let us know in the comments!
