PlayStation Plus October 2026: F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, EDF: World Brothers 2

Sony reveals October 2026 PlayStation Plus lineup: F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.
Ready for your next batch of free games? Sony just unveiled the PlayStation Plus monthly lineup for October 2026, and it's a mix of speed, monsters, and voxel chaos.
First up, F1 25 brings the racing action. This is Codemasters' latest entry in the long-running Formula 1 series, and it's a solid one. We gave it an 8/10, saying it's 'a far broader and better package than last year's installment, and it's comfortably the strongest the series has been since the fan favourite F1 2020.' So if you're into racing, you're in for a treat.
Next, Hunt: Showdown 1896 is a first-person extraction shooter from Crytek that pits you against mythological monsters. It originally launched in early access back in 2018, and we awarded it a 7.5/10. The PS5 version also includes a battle royale mode. Don't worry if you haven't played the first 1895 games—you'll pick it up quickly.
Finally, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 hits PS4 and PS5. This third-person shooter offers both local and online co-op, and it continues the story of the voxel Earth after the events of the first game. Brothers from around the world reunite to face an unprecedented threat from an all-new enemy that threatens to tear the Earth apart all over again.
All three games will be available to PlayStation Plus members starting in October 2026. Whether you're looking to hit the track, hunt monsters, or defend the Earth with friends, there's something here for you.
What do you think of this month's lineup? Will you be picking any of these up? Let us know in the comments!
