Marvel's Gwen Stacy Race: Mbappé's Girlfriend Among 4 Rumored Picks

Marvel is reportedly eyeing four actresses for Gwen Stacy — including Ester Expósito, girlfriend of football star Kylian Mbappé. Nothing's official yet.

Marvel might be on the hunt for its next Gwen Stacy, and the rumor mill is already spinning at full speed.

According to Marvel scoop blogger MCU Fanatics, four actresses are reportedly in the running for the classic Spider-Man character: McKenna Grace, Emma Myers, Ester Expósito, and Emily Rudd. Before you get too excited, though — Marvel hasn't officially announced anything, so this is still firmly in rumor territory.

Let's break down the names, because there's some serious talent here.

McKenna Grace is a young American actress you've probably seen in Gifted, Captain Marvel, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife. She's got serious range and has been popping up in fan casts for years.

Emma Myers blew up thanks to her role as Enid Sinclair in Netflix's Wednesday, and she's since appeared in A Good Girl's Guide to Murder and A Minecraft Movie. If you loved her quirky energy as Enid, you get why she'd be on this list.

Then there's Ester Expósito — a Spanish actress best known as Carla Rosón in Netflix's Elite. She's also appeared in projects like The Marked Heart, and yes, she's the girlfriend of French football superstar Kylian Mbappé. That little detail alone has probably sent this rumor flying across social media.

Rounding out the group is Emily Rudd, who horror fans will recognize from Netflix's Fear Street trilogy. She also played Nami in Netflix's live-action One Piece, which made her a favorite among anime fans.

Here's the thing: nobody knows if any of these four have actually auditioned or entered final talks. There's also zero reliable info on which MCU project Gwen Stacy might show up in — or if she's even coming at all. Gwen has had a rough history on screen, from Emma Stone's beloved take in The Amazing Spider-Man to her absence in the MCU's current Spider-Man run.

For now, all we can do is wait for Marvel to make it official. Until then, treat this one as a fun what-if rather than a done deal.
