GTA 6 Collector's Box Costs $400, Doesn't Include the Game

Rockstar reveals a $400 GTA 6 merchandise bundle packed with a spoon, Oakley sunglasses, and more—but no actual game. Pre-orders are open now.
Ever wanted to drop $400 on a spoon? Well, Rockstar is giving you the chance with its new GTA 6 Collector's Box. The Grand Theft Auto 6: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection was just revealed, and it's a massive merch bundle that'll set you back around four times the price of the game itself. And no, it doesn't come with a copy of GTA 6.
So what exactly do you get for your hard-earned cash? The set includes a figure of Macca the Gator, a spoon (yes, really), designer sunglasses from Oakley, a crossbody bag, stickers, and a double-sided map. Everything is emblazoned with logos for Vice City, GTA 6, or Rockstar. The whole lot costs $399.99 in the US or £349.99 in the UK, and pre-orders are open now. Currently, it's an all-in-one purchase—you can't buy anything separately.
You might be balking at that price, and you're definitely not alone. But there are reasons for the hefty tag. The Oakley sunglasses alone usually go for around $200, and the manufacturing and weight of all the other items add up. Still, it's a lot to ask, especially when you still need to buy the game separately—and you don't even get a disc for your trouble.
If you just want the game, standard pre-orders are still live: $79.99 at Amazon in the US and £67.95 at Amazon in the UK. The collector's box was first spotted through private store listings by a user named Razed on the GTAForums message board. They also noticed shirts, tote bags, and more hats might be on the way, so there are plenty of ways to give Rockstar your money before the game even launches.
It's clear Rockstar is going all-in on merchandise, and this is just the first windfall. Whether you're a die-hard collector or just want the game, there's something for everyone—though your wallet might disagree. What do you think? Will you be picking up this box, or are you just here for the game?
